The Ruthless Dao Master’s Beloved Disciple

One day, a huge hole tore open in the sky, and Yi Yao found a stunning beauty right outside her home. To keep her fairy-like big sister from leaving, she gave Xiao Linglu all the treasures in her collection, spent every day following her around and acting cute, and finally got her wish: she went back to Xiao Linglu's sect with her.

Xiao Linglu came from a prestigious sect and cultivated the Heartless Dao. She believed her heart was as still as water and never got close to anyone. But after Yi Yao joined the sect, Xiao Linglu sank deeper and deeper, until her Dao heart wavered and her inner demons multiplied.

Yi Yao: Master, I'm tired. Give me a hug.

Xiao Linglu: Come here.

Yi Yao: Master, I'm hungry. I want flower cakes.

Xiao Linglu: I'll buy some.

Yi Yao: Master, cuddle with me.

Xiao Linglu pinched her cheek: Don't push your luck.

When she heard the rumor that Yi Yao's body and soul had been destroyed, Xiao Linglu, who had always cared for all living beings and made it her life's mission to slay demons and vanquish evil, fell to the demonic path in front of all the immortals.

A cute and clueless disciple in the early stages, an imposing powerhouse later on, versus a cool and aloof master who acts proud and tough but is soft-hearted.
