Omega Is a Siren

Yan Qinghe was afraid of bitter things, afraid of pain, and afraid of getting tired.

To live a more comfortable life, he used his handsome face to get into the entertainment industry and become an actor.

It was just an ordinary day. Yan Qinghe closed his eyes, then opened them again, only to find that the world had changed.

There were all kinds of words he couldn't understand in his ears, things like Beta, pheromones, and suppressants.

His parents looked different, too. He had gained an older brother and a younger brother who wasn't related to him by blood.

As Yan Qinghe was full of questions, a glowing orb that called itself the System bound itself to him and told him that he had transmigrated into this ABO novel as a disposable side character.

His role was to be the obstacle in the romantic path of the original character's younger brother, the protagonist, and a foolish villain NPC who tried to ruin the destined couple's relationship.

The System required him to follow the character's path and drive the plot forward. If he completed the mission, it would send him home.

Yan Qinghe narrowed his eyes and swished his fox tail.

This was familiar. He used to be an actor, after all.

Even if he had only ever acted in third-rate idol dramas.

Mission One:

Return to his old career and enter the entertainment industry, establishing a villainous persona in the public eye.

Yan Qinghe joined a dating show as an unknown newcomer. Among all the celebrities, he stood out as a particularly high-profile nobody, a "pretty vase" with no works, no fame, and no backer.

He repeatedly acted out and showed his displeasure, and was especially rude to the award-winning actor the production team had assigned as his "partner." He nearly treated the man like a servant.

After filming the show for a while, Yan Qinghe opened it to check the results of his efforts so far. But after searching for ages, he couldn't find a single insult. The comments filling the screen all said:

"OMG, baby, please don't reward him..."

Mission Two:

Make bullying the protagonist the norm and fulfill his duties as a villain NPC.

After many days of relentless effort in every possible way, Yan Qinghe finally wore the adopted son his parents had taken in down until he was exhausted and bedridden.

He left, satisfied.

But the very next day, someone knocked on his door.

"Open up, big brother. It's your eldest brother."

The protagonist stood outside with red-rimmed eyes, crying so hard he looked like a rain-soaked pear blossom. The first thing he asked was:

"Are you going to abandon me, big brother...?"

Yan Qinghe: ?

Mission Three:

Throw his weight around in front of the male lead and draw his hatred.

The male lead hadn't made a name for himself yet. He was just an illegitimate son of a wealthy family, kept out of sight.

Yan Qinghe walked up to him, humiliated him, and told him to be his dog.

"In exchange, I'll help you rise to the top."

Yan Qinghe twitched his fox ears and lied without batting an eye.

"All right." The male lead agreed readily, without the furious look Yan Qinghe had expected.

Yan Qinghe was left utterly confused. In a daze, he picked up the leash and took the stray dog home.

Stray dogs were just crazy. They liked biting people and couldn't be trained.

Yan Qinghe stopped him several times, until one day he was "running a fever" and felt woozy. Then his own neck got bitten.

Third-rate romance dramas are dangerous.

1. A story with a beloved-by-everyone protagonist.

2. The fox isn't stupid. He just doesn't understand romance very well, and his acting isn't all that great either.

3. A simple, fluffy story with no great depth.
