A hurricane hits, sending a yacht off course and crashing it into a reef. Xia Wei and the members of her school's geology club lose contact with the outside world and end up stranded on an unknown island off the coast of Western Australia.

The other person unlucky enough to be there is the yacht's owner, who was in charge of taking her out to sea: Justin Hill, a popular figure at school, the adopted son of a local gang boss, and a dangerous guy nobody should mess with.

Xia Wei goes to the same school as him, but they don't know each other well. Her first impression of him is the same as everyone else's: he has the privileged good looks of a rich young master, but he's cold and keeps people at a distance.

The two are forced to spend time together.
