Senes had never understood what purpose curses served in this world.
Filthy, stinking, viscous, like moldy vomit stuck to the walls of a sewer pipe.
“If I cannot rid this world of the filth known as curses, then perhaps I should leave it.”
That was what Senes thought.
Later, he met a white-haired, blue-eyed cat in this world.
Snow-white, fluffy fur and clear, sparkling azure eyes. In a world steeped in the sour stench of fermented kitchen waste, the small patch of space around that boy was the only remaining pure land.
Senes: “...But then again, who can be sure that the entire journey will be filled with beautiful scenery? Perhaps this is fate’s guidance, a trial bestowed upon me.”
So he followed his heart and swiftly bundled up the white cat and took him away.
Senes: I found a cat. He wants to come home with me!
He carefully wiped the filth off the cat, brushed its snow-white fur, then settled it into a clean, soft cat bed.
Later, he thought the cat bed was too small for his beloved cat to frolic in. He needed a clean world in which to raise a cat.
And so the curses, who had coexisted with humanity for tens of thousands of years, met their downfall.
The curses: Listen, I just want to say thank you...
Many years later, when curses had finally become a thing of the past, Senes invited his beloved cat: “Gojo-kun, would you like to come with me and see the world beyond this one?”
Theme: Starting a new life afresh!
Congratulations on the ending. It's really emotional to write about Sesshomaru now. There are very few novels about this first-generation male god that are not OOC. It's also hard for me to imagine Sesshomaru and Xiaoling falling in love. It was written just right. I enjoyed it very much and am looking forward to the next work.
