My Days as an Outside Contractor for the Neighboring Hell

Dear readers, this story will go VIP on Wednesday, June 26, with three chapters released that day. Chapters 30 through 144 will be VIP chapters, so please don't buy them again if you've already read them. Finally, thank you for your support. I'll work even harder.

Tang You retired from working for her own wondrous employer several years ago, and has always planned to spend her life as a laid-back couch potato after graduating from college.

When she's not busy, she writes a little, earning enough to feed the three fluffballs at home.

But she never expected that, four or five years later, her former boss would spring a huge "surprise" on her:

An uninhabited community in a post-apocalyptic world.

How is she supposed to run a community like this?

Standing inside the community gate, she looks at the stark contrast between the "world of the living" and the "underworld."

She really wants to ask: Are there any living people here at all?

Maybe this community would be better suited to hosting ghosts.

A few hours later.

The first residents to move into her community really are three ghosts.

To be more precise, they're three ghosts who have already died in the world of anime.

But then they join her in fighting the zombies in the city outside...

No, wait, let me start over.

After contacting the underworld staff responsible for them, getting help from the underworld's assistant director, and completing the proper procedures on her end, she becomes the "dorm supervisor" for the underworld staff who come to this zombie-infested city, as well as an auxiliary worker for the Japanese underworld...

Here's a preview of my upcoming story: The Detective Conan World's Cook Keeps Getting Labeled a Suspect Today

I am Rengoku Aoi, and I'm currently going through the most unacceptable experience of my life.

Two handsome men have "escorted" me into the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department for a "cup of tea," one on each side.

The reason: suspicion of drug trafficking.

Help: How am I supposed to explain to them that I'm just a college student?

If you insist on adding a qualifier, then I'm a college student who works part-time as a cook.

Matsuda Jinpei says in a booming voice: Impossible. We heard your conversation with the contact on the other end of your phone just now, loud and clear.

Hagiwara Kenji looks at me like a father watching his daughter about to fall into darkness: You still have a bright future. You can still turn back now.

Pairing: The bespectacled, curly-haired one

Theme: Work earnestly, live your life to the fullest,
