Ah Cheng

A man came alone and asked those around him to call him A Cheng.

The borderland wind lifted his empty left sleeve. His temples were as gray as the day they first met, and the wind and sand had carved deep furrows at the corners of his eyes. No one knew why this wandering martial artist had settled in this remote little town, or why he had chosen to spend the rest of his life in seclusion here.

P.S. A friend requested a short wuxia story. It's from the male protagonist's perspective, and this is my first time trying this genre. Comments and corrections are welcome.

Theme: Let the past drift away on the wind; give your life for your country.
