Lin Yang transmigrated, and on the very first day, he was kicked out of his home.
Still bewildered, he was “exiled” to a remote, forgotten wasteland of a planet. Only then did Lin Yang slowly come to his senses and piece together his situation:
He had transmigrated into the future and become the child of F26’s richest man… More precisely, he was the child his father’s first wife had left behind.
After his first wife died of illness, the tycoon quickly brought his second wife into the family, along with a son older than Lin Yang. Lin Yang, meanwhile, was disowned and thrown out.
When he was sent packing, all he had to his name was a few thousand starcoins and ownership of this wasteland planet.
Whether it was desolate or not, it was still a planet, a place to call home. At least he wouldn’t be left to fend for himself in the open.
Lin Yang sighed softly, accepted reality, picked up his featherlight luggage, and walked into a house without even a door.
He had to admit, the house was run-down, but it was enormous… Wait! Those vermilion pillars hidden among the vines, that dusty but still intricately carved canopy bed, those hexagonal flowerpots with auspicious designs, completely buried beneath weeds…
Lin Yang’s eyes widened. Then he dashed out of the house and looked around, his head tilted back.
Mom, I’ve moved into the Forbidden City!
“Ding-dong! Congratulations, you’ve activated the Entrepreneurship Support System. Please do your best in the days ahead!”

Planet M23, a remote, forgotten garbage planet. After a thousand years of upheaval, war, and unrest, people had long since forgotten its original name. Then one day…
“The Earth Museum is officially open! A thousand years have passed. Do you still remember?”
Remember? Remember what?
Before people could even react, the promotional video that followed left them stunned:
A quaint castle surrounded by seawater, with a golden angel atop its tower spreading its wings, sword in hand, ready to take flight;
White walls and colorful prayer flags, with turning prayer wheels offering prayers for peace;
The Sphinx keeping watch beside a sleeping pharaoh;
Celestial beings in flowing robes dancing gracefully among the clouds;
Boats gliding through endless misty rain, while the tides of fate shift behind golden tiles and red walls…
It was a world they had never seen before, yet it stirred a familiar longing deep in their hearts.
The internet was in an uproar: “We have time and money! Tell us where it is, right now!”
*
The Earth Museum became a sensation, and this little wasteland planet, previously “unknown to the world,” suddenly became a place everyone wanted to visit. Lin Yang’s name spread across the stars with it.
Just as everything seemed to be going well, his estranged father came looking for him, demanding ownership of Planet M23.
Lin Yang immediately rolled up his sleeves… and started a livestream.
“Come one, come all, don’t miss this! The former richest man on F26 goes bankrupt and then tries to steal his ex-wife’s child’s property. Is this the collapse of human decency, or are some people just shameless to the core…”
First, win the battle for public opinion. Then get the lawyers involved!
But before the case even reached court, the other party came trembling and groveling to apologize.
Just as Lin Yang began to suspect a trap, a massive starship descended. A group of people stepped out, led by Lu Xuan, the employee Lin Yang had always thought was “honest” and “pitiful.”
When they first met, Lu Xuan had been sprawled unconscious in a garbage heap, covered in grime. Now he stood tall and handsome in a smart uniform, the gold on his epaulets dazzlingly bright.
Lin Yang blinked. “General Lu…?”
Lu Xuan’s lips curved slightly. “Allow me to introduce myself properly. I’m Lu Xuan, a Star Alliance general. I’ve come with the Minister of Publicity to discuss the stationing of troops on Planet M23, its defense, and the preservation of its historical and cultural heritage.”
Lin Yang narrowed his eyes, wary.
Another person here to take Earth away?!!
…
Later, the Star Alliance successfully stationed troops on Earth, taking responsibility for its security. But outside the small courtyard where the museum director lived, a conspicuous sign was put up:
“Lu Xuan and dogs (the word ‘dogs’ is crossed out) are not allowed in!”
Reader’s Guide:
1. Important warning: This is not a wish-fulfillment power fantasy. The heart of the story is the revival of Earth’s history and culture. The protagonist believes that “the home planet’s culture belongs to all of humanity,” so Earth will ultimately become part of the Star Alliance. The protagonist and the Star Alliance work together for mutual benefit. This may not suit readers who are extremely possessive of the protagonist!
2. Neither lead has any romantic experience, and their relationship may develop rather slowly.
3. This story is entirely fictional, and the space-opera setting includes many original elements.
4. Information about historical artifacts and history is sourced from the internet. Please feel free to point out any errors in a friendly manner. Thank you!
A preview of my upcoming novel: The Fortune-Teller Is Open for Business
Lu Congzhi is a charlatan, and all his clients know he’s a charlatan.
“Master, my friend’s seeing someone. Could you take a look and tell me if he’s right for her?”
“What makes you think they’re not right for each other? He…”
Lu Congzhi smiled faintly. “He’s blocking your path to fortune.”
“…We’re breaking up. Right now!”
Customer review: Five stars! My best friend is finally free of that jerk!
“Master, my child finally found a stable job, but now he cries every day about wanting to quit. Could you read his career prospects for him?”
Lu Congzhi frowned. “This job isn’t right for him. His future will be rocky, and he’ll be prone to running into spiteful people. Forget about getting promoted; he might even end up behind bars.”
“Oh! Then he has to quit!”
Customer review: Five stars! Mom finally stopped objecting to me quitting!
Lu Congzhi: “I practice fortune-telling honestly and conduct my business transparently. That’s my code of conduct.”
Until one day, someone came to his stall.
“I hear you can tell fortunes and answer people’s questions?”
Lu Congzhi looked up. A man in a suit and coat stood before him, wearing gold-rimmed glasses.
He narrowed his eyes. This guy was exactly his type!
He immediately gave him his brightest smile. “If you’ve come here, fate must have brought you to me. What would you like to ask?”
After that, things began to take a strange turn.
The shadowy figure in the classroom wasn’t a shadow that could be found by walking around once. It was a student who didn’t know he had died;
The wailing that rang out every night at midnight wasn’t a cat in heat. It was the vengeful spirit of an infant;
The village that suddenly disappeared hadn’t been relocated. It had been swallowed by a sea of fog formed from the grievances of the dead…
Lu Congzhi’s smile slowly vanished. At last, he gritted his teeth. “Shen Yu, your birth chart must be cursed with yin energy! I haven’t run into a ghost in eight hundred years, and I’ve met every kind of them around you!”
“Once we deal with her, you can tell my fortune all you like. But right now…” Shen Yu stared at the red-clad, fanged evil spirit before them. “You work in this line of business, after all. Even if you’re a charlatan, you must have some way to save your own skin, right?”
“Save my own skin? Ha!” Lu Congzhi chuckled. “That’s setting the bar way too low! Mr. Shen, anything beyond the scope of the service costs extra!”
As he spoke, he pulled a soft whip from who knew where and gave it a light flick. Golden light shimmered along its length…
Five minutes later, Lu Congzhi stood with one foot on the evil spirit, the whip wrapped tightly around her neck.
Shen Yu looked at the female ghost, who didn’t dare struggle, and raised an eyebrow. “A charlatan?”
Lu Congzhi grinned. “Fortune-telling is my profession. Exorcism is my side gig.”
He pulled out his phone and held it out to Shen Yu. “Going beyond the scope of service costs extra. But…” He gave Shen Yu an appraising look. “You’re good-looking, so I’ll give you ten percent off! Thanks for your business!”
