The Neighbor

Zhu Lin's husband, whom she has been with since their school-uniform days, has cheated on her. Following the advice of her friends and lawyer, Zhu Lin chooses not to divorce him for the time being.

The new neighbor upstairs happens to be her husband's boss. One day, her husband invites his boss over. In the middle of the visit, he gets a call from his mistress and rushes out to the balcony to answer it.

The living room is left with just Zhu Lin and her husband's boss. Feeling awkward, Zhu Lin makes an excuse about cutting some more fruit and gets up to leave.

To her surprise, her quiet boss suddenly grabs her by the arm and calmly says, "Your husband is cheating on you. Did you know?"

Zhu Lin: "..."

After that, the boss becomes a frequent guest in her home, whether or not her husband is there.

* A somewhat oblivious, detached woman x a scheming, dark-hearted man

* The male lead is the boss. This is not a love triangle, so don't mistake who the male lead is. The ending is 1v1. The heroine is detached and doesn't have much need in this regard; one high-quality man is enough.

* Content warnings: There are too many to know where to start.

* This is the third installment in the series [Crossing the Boundaries of Morality, We Walk Through Love's Forbidden Zone]

* As usual, it's a feast for my personal tastes.

Theme: Neighbors should help one another.
