[Female B, male O, BG romance]
Lin Yuan had always thought her new neighbor was strange.
He was always stone-faced. Nothing like the stereotypical male O, all fragile and pitiful, always acting cute and flirting.
He was a creature of the night. She almost never saw him during the day, and he went out every night.
He was unusually helpful. He took out the trash she'd left by the door for a while, fixed her leaky pipes, and even brought her dumplings he'd cooked.
Based on that last point, Lin Yuan reasonably suspected that her neighbor had a crush on her.
But looking at the powerful pectoral muscles straining beneath Jiang Ting's shirt and his well-defined six-pack, Lin Yuan thought she might as well play the innocent and have a little romance with him.
Until one night, she opened the door to find Jiang Ting slumped helplessly against her doorframe. He raised his flushed face to look at her. "Dr. Lin, help me."
Lin Yuan crouched down and stared for ten seconds at the small patch of liquid soaking into the front of his shirt. Then she rested her chin on her hand and met his gaze with casual ease. "How would you like me to help you?"

Another examination.
Lin Yuan couldn't stop her hand from clenching and relaxing, over and over.
After she had been pushing his boundaries for quite some time and still showed no sign of stopping, a tanned hand finally moved up and grabbed hers tightly through his clothes.
"Dr. Lin, please show some restraint."
As if startled, Lin Yuan looked up at him with watery almond eyes and said timidly, "I'm really just curious."

I like a bit of a size difference and an emotional gap (not really).
Some setting details:
Male and female A's have both upper and lower parts. Female A's develop their upper parts more noticeably than male A's.
Male and female B's are based on their biological sex.
Male and female O's have both upper and lower parts. Male O's upper parts are less developed than female O's, but their sperm is more active (though not as active as A's, and they can get pregnant). Apart from pheromones and mech compatibility, female O's are much like female B's.
Mechs: Elemental energy extracted from crystals of the five elements serves as their power source. It is stored in small, portable magnetic clasps that are easy to conceal. When activated, a mech almost instantly covers the body and becomes a battle suit with powerful offensive capabilities.
To operate a mech, a person needs a compatibility rating of at least 30 out of 100. Those with a rating of 31 to 50 are called borrowers. They cannot wear a mech continuously, since doing so would damage their bodies. They can only borrow a mech's power in battle.
Those with a rating of 51 to 80 are called users. They can wear a mech continuously, but cannot fully unleash its power.
Those with a compatibility rating above 80 are called controllers. They are the ones truly compatible with mechs. The higher their compatibility, the more of a mech's power they can unleash, and the more advanced a mech they can operate. [I haven't read that many ABO novels, and I'm worried I might accidentally use another author's distinctive setting, so these are my own details.]

1. Not sure if this will happen, but please don't make this into anything bigger than it is. I just want to let loose and write a simple, sweet little story.
