[Honkai: Star Rail] Flying Light, Flying Light

Even many years later, Ying Tong could still remember her time in Zhu Ming. She could recite, "With the frigid substance of frozen streams, receive the morning light of dawn," and, "Radiant is the dark sky, misty the sweet rain." She would tie on a neck strap and forge weapons for the Xianzhou's hunting patrols alongside her grandmaster. She could sing Vidyadhara folk tunes and beat the Foxian drums. She loved listening to Xianzhou ballads and humming Zhu Ming flower-drum opera. When she wanted to unwind, she could put on a round-collared robe, take her little bow and arrows, and head straight for the starskiff with the Flame Lord for a hunt, returning home only at dusk. After bathing and changing, there would be delicious roast meat waiting for her.

She was happy. She was free. She was growing ever more passionate.

But now she can no longer take the battlefield, hunt, or forge.

"To me, you are like a night without a veil, like the dawn."

Jing Yun x Ying Tong. This will probably be a Xianzhou-style love story, and neither the characters nor their story will be perfect.

It will probably start with an ensemble story about the Xianzhou before moving on to the romance.

There are lots of personal headcanons, especially the change of Ying Xing into Huai Yan's direct disciple. In the game, Bai Heng's travelogue suggests he may have been a self-taught disciple. If you don't like this kind of headcanon, you can leave now.
