Zhang Xun is a Daoist priest with yin-yang eyes, but he has never seen a ghost or caught one. He spends his days alone at his temple, burning incense, cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, farming, growing vegetables, praying for blessings, and even sewing his own clothes.
One day, he is suddenly swept into a baffling world and becomes an explorer, the sort who encounters ghosts every day. He has to keep his head down until the very end, or finish exploring before he can return to the safe zone.

At first sight, everyone thinks Zhang Xun is a con artist looking for a free meal. He has none of a Daoist's ethereal bearing, and worst of all, he's even more shocked to see ghosts than ordinary people.
"You're still scamming people in a place like this? Have you got no conscience?"
"Hey, fake Daoist, can you tell fortunes?"
Zhang Xun shakes his head and declares with utter conviction, "Why bother telling fortunes? I decide my own fate!"

"Then can you exorcise ghosts?"
Zhang Xun, who's never exorcised a ghost before, draws his sword. "I... can try?"
Everyone stares blankly at Zhang Xun as he clutches his sword and runs down the street with a ghost chasing him.
