[Aotu World/Zandik BG] What Do You Mean, the Way of the Knight?

Lait, a truly extraordinary princess.

One second, she marvels at how beautiful a gemstone is. The next, she hurls it eight hundred meters away.

Lait, one second later: "Wc, this is so damn gorgeous! I've never owned anything this luxurious in my past life, my god.jpg"

Lait, the next second: "What the heck? They got this by exploiting my people? I'd rather not have it. No trade, no harm.jpg"

So, in the middle of the night, she somehow gathers a pile of gold, silver, and jewels, throws them off the roof (don't worry, she doesn't hit anyone), then yells:

"The royal family of Planet XX, the royal family of Planet XX, the Queen's Jewelry Store is going out of business! The princess is running away with her knights!"

Knight Zande: ...

Knight Anmicius: ...

*

Later, Lait really does run away.

She runs around the knight training grounds, screeching like a monkey (?).

Anmicius looks troubled. "Miss, may I ask who you are...?"

Lait: "I'm a princess who just escaped."

Anmicius is horrified.

Zande scoffs. "Oh? A princess?"

Lait: "Yeah. That damn planet and that damn royal family should've gone under ages ago. Princess, my ass. I want to become a pirate."

Zande is horrified. "A kindred spirit!!!"

Anmicius: ?

*

Lait has recently realized that Zande is basically an idiot.

"What the heck are you doing? You... you can go look for a way to break the curse, sure, but why didn't you tell us? (monkey clutching its head) I'm telling you, Little An is emo now! Do you even know?"

Zande: "...Sorry."

Lait is speechless. Lait sighs. Lait comes to terms with it.

"Fine. I'll wait for you with Little An and the old cat-head."

*

Since Lait is a transmigrator, she easily finds Zande and Zitang Zhen, who have become angels, with a little help from this and a little help from that.

Lait, sternly: "X Angel, fancy seeing you again."

Zande: "...It's X Angel, not Cross Angel."

Lait nods in understanding. "Got it, Cross Angel. I know, Cross Angel."

Zande: .

Zitang Zhen looks confused and wary. "Who are you?"

*

And then Zitang Zhen and Lait become besties.

Lait: I'm awesome :-D

*

"Balabalabalabala, in conclusion, I've decided to join Little Zhen (Zitang Zhen) and the others in betraying the Divine Envoys!"

"...Trying to take on the gods alone is foolish and futile."

Zande had never been one to worry too much, either.

But...

Lait seems to see right through his thoughts. Her bright blue eyes gleam with a smile.

"If you don't try, how will you know?"

Rebellious rich-girl princess x unruly, tall, handsome knight

That's right, Zande isn't rich, hehe.

I plan to finish this story after Aotu World ends, because I don't want to make up what happens next.
