At the age of twenty-two, she met the Cullen family in the damp town of Forks, which felt just like the Slytherin common room.

Vampires.

“Fortunately,” they did not drink human blood, and she had known the secrets of their kind better than anyone for a long time. They were not afraid of sunlight, silver, garlic, or crosses. Only fire could make them die a second time.

What does death feel like?

Falan, who survived the war, wants to know.

“Is death painful?”

She wrote these words in her diary again and again, but would never receive a reply from the one she had lost.

Is death painful?

Edward could tell her that the moment of death was not painful, but the wait for it was torturous and agonizing.

[Guide for Readers]

1. Twilight + Harry Potter. The early chapters focus mostly on Twilight, with memories of her time in the wizarding world woven in. The female lead is skilled at Occlumency, so Edward sometimes cannot hear her thoughts.

2. The female lead has psychological problems. Her thoughts and feelings constantly shift and contradict one another, so do not try to understand her mind by applying the logic of a mentally healthy person.

3. When Voldemort was defeated in 1998, the female lead was only in her fifth year. After graduating from Hogwarts in 2000, she became a teaching assistant for Defense Against the Dark Arts. This story begins in 2004, when she is twenty-two.
