[Welcome to Demon School!] Since I'm a Demon, There's Nothing Wrong with Joining the Mafia, Right?!

I died.

All right... This wasn't some tragic scene with angels gathered around me, blowing trumpets. I was just playing the game The Infinite Descent into Demonic Possession: Tales of Life in the Demon Realm, and got killed by a forced plot event because I forgot to complete the unlocked identity-hiding quest...

But... as they say, a blessing in disguise! After that painful instant-death ending... I accidentally unlocked an official hidden route with a trigger probability of 1 in 6,666, one that had never been revealed!?

Even though, from the start, I was just picked up by a younger Iruma and taken back to his ramshackle home; even though the place seemed to be a slum in such appalling disrepair that it could hardly get any worse; even though half my abilities had been taken away, and I had to live wrapped in bandages with a talent that could explode at any moment like a bomb... None of that was a problem!

First things first, I'd find a way to join that demon mafia called [Babyl]! ...Oh, Iruma! I'm back! I got some delicious bread (loot) from everyone (red-name NPCs) again today!

The signal that says it's over cries out as if accusing me,

and so it happens again and again, over and over.

Look, there you are, smiling.

Why? This is the end.

The red-eyed you is glaring at

this truly sweet,

true story, as if it were a bad dream.*

1. There are some mildly delusional elements, but basically the protagonist and everyone else are on completely different wavelengths. In short, it's probably something like: Huh? I've become a popular character archetype (beautiful, doomed, and miserable)... Seriously? That's the sort of cheesy story this is.

2. A steady, reassuring everyone-loves-the-protagonist setup. But on the demon mafia route, it's "unable to become a part of that person's past," while on the original-world route, it's "living with the pain of failing to save that person." Don't worry... I've got the same amount of angst in both!

3. Because I think everyone looks most beautiful when they're suffering... there are lots of descriptions of blood and wounds. There are also plenty of scenes where everyone is depressed after learning they're a stand-in (not really) and that their first love has died (they're still alive). It even veers into some seriously over-the-top writing...

4. There are probably some original settings to fill in the plot! In any case, please read with an open mind and accept everything as it comes!
