To survive, she was forced to fight the monsters for territory, but after getting injured in an accident, she unexpectedly turned into the human she had always dreamed of becoming.

Zhang Fei planted her hands on her hips and laughed triumphantly. "I'm human again! Hahaha!"

The monsters: ...What a nutcase!

In the wake of the apocalypse, pollution and radiation caused all kinds of mutations. The land became barren and abandoned, and humanity entered an age of post-apocalyptic wastelands.

To survive, powerful ability users built high walls to keep out the monsters, allowing humans to live safely within them.

The surviving humans were divided into five professions based on their abilities: builders, growers, healers, assault fighters, and service workers. There were also the wanderers, exiled beyond the walls.

Sheng Jing was a natural-born assault fighter. The Third Squad under his command received a top-secret mission:

[Eliminate the strongest mutant in Yangcheng]

The Third Squad arrived in Yangcheng, a place crawling with mutants, and unexpectedly encountered a wanderer struggling to survive outside the walls.

Sheng Jing offered a friendly hand, but the other person angrily refused.

The young woman was clean and pretty, with red lips and white teeth, nothing like someone who had been wandering beyond the walls. Her big eyes blazed with black fury.

"Don't touch me!"

Gazing at the pure, fresh human before her, Zhang Fei was moved to tears.

Keep your hands to yourself! Control yourself!

These people absolutely cannot die again!

But the Third Squad panicked when they saw the young woman crying.

"Don't cry, don't cry!"

"Did our captain scare you? Don't be afraid. He looks fierce, but he's a good person!"

"Captain! Apologize to her, now!"
