A Straight Man's Dating Contract

[Opening on October 29]

Life had always gone smoothly for rich heir Lu Wusheng.

He was a top student, good-looking, from a wealthy family, and had open-minded parents.

He did have one secret hidden deep in his heart.

He was gay.

And he was currently in love with his university roommate, Yan Ci.

Yan Ci treated him well and considered him his best friend.

But Lu Wusheng knew Yan Ci was straight as a ruler, had no interest in men, and could never fall for him.

One day, after hearing that Yan Ci had been confessed to by a rich and beautiful junior, he got drunk in a daze.

When he woke up, Yan Ci was sleeping beside him and kissed him on the forehead. "Morning, boyfriend."

Lu Wusheng: ?

It took Lu Wusheng a long time to figure out that when Yan Ci had come to pick him up the night before, he was drunk and jealous, and had proposed a dating contract.

Yan Ci would be his boyfriend.

In return, Lu Wusheng would support Yan Ci, whose family was less well-off.

After they made the deal, Lu Wusheng was consumed with guilt, feeling that he had coerced a straight man.

But backing out and cutting off the financial support would be even worse, so to make up for his mistake, he played the part of a generous, devoted boyfriend.

One handhold: 100.

One kiss: 1,000.

The first time they slept together, he woke up and handed Yan Ci his supplementary credit card. "Spend whatever you want!"

Whenever Yan Ci thought it was too much and didn't want to accept it, Lu Wusheng would always say, "I've got money to spare!"

Until one day, when he was clearheaded again, he realized with deep regret that he couldn't ruin Yan Ci's life just to satisfy his own desires, and broke up with him.

To his surprise, three days later, Yan Ci came looking for him again.

"Would you be willing to be my boyfriend?"

Yan Ci handed him a card worth ten times more than all the money Lu Wusheng had given him so far and said sincerely, "I've got money to spare."

Lu Wusheng: "???"

"My secret crush may be silent, but every dollar I spend speaks volumes."
