After Breaking Up, We Became a Top-Tier Star Couple

Two years after the boy band went their separate ways, Fang Wu ran into a former bandmate on a couple-themed variety show.

More precisely, it was his ex-boyfriend, Cheng Yiyan. The two had pretended to dislike each other while in the band, but had shared a bed countless times in private, and had only broken up recently.

The production team had a field day pairing them up.

The other couples were perfectly in sync, all sweet and affectionate.

Only Fang Wu and Cheng Yiyan made things awkward whenever they were together.

Fang Wu maintained the appearance of a cordial working relationship, but as soon as the cameras were off, he quickly dropped his smile. He might as well have had "We're strangers" written across his face.

Cheng Yiyan raised an eyebrow. "If you're so unhappy to see me, why did you agree to do this show?"

Fang Wu replied expressionlessly, "Because it pays. What about you?"

Cheng Yiyan chuckled. "Because you're here."

Fang Wu: "...???"

Everyone knew that Fang Wu and Cheng Yiyan had never gotten along.

So when the show was announced, fans and onlookers complained: Who wants to watch these two pretend to be a couple? Can't they pair up with someone decent?

Some people were just waiting to laugh at them, ready to witness the birth of the most awkward couple of the year.

But after the show aired, viewers began to feel that something wasn't quite right.

"Wait, weren't they supposed to hate each other and have a grudge? Why do they know each other so well?"

"Why do they blush whenever they touch?"

"Why does all their bickering sound like flirting?"

"Hold on, I have reason to suspect you two are secretly dating!! Mom, I think I've found a real couple!!"

-

After they broke up, Fang Wu swore he'd never go back to an ex.

Until one day, lying in bed and looking at the person beside him, he thought that sometimes going back to an ex was pretty sweet.

"Once you've fallen for someone, you'll fall for them again and again."

"Just like how, once you've been tricked into bed by you, you'll get tricked into it again, and again, and again... countless times."

-

People always like to speculate about their relationship.

Onlookers say they don't get along and have fought.

Solo fans say they refuse to be tied together or play up their relationship.

Couple shippers say they're secretly dating and pretending to keep their distance.

Unfortunately, no one has guessed the truth.

A scheming, tea-drinking, flirtatious top x a tsundere bottom who says one thing and means another

An unconventional second-chance romance: after their attempt to turn a casual hookup into a real relationship fails, the top sets off to win his lover back once more.

No angst, no heartbreak, just a mischievous and silly sweet romance.

My own mischievous take on entertainment-industry stories.
