Top's POV

At a cast dinner before filming began, Bai Yuhuan ran into his first boyfriend, who had vanished without a word five years ago.

He politely nodded in greeting, suppressing his complicated feelings. In a shadowy corner of the terrace, he lit a cigarette. He never expected the other man to follow him out, pin him against the wall, and kiss him by force.

Bai Yuhuan pushed him away. "Mr. Lou, please show some respect."

Lou Yuedu said, "What's respect? I'm not heavy."

Some time after their reunion, Bai Yuhuan realized Lou Yuedu had no intention of making their relationship public. He said, "Mr. Lou, I don't have affairs."

They parted on bad terms again.

After some time, Bai Yuhuan was feeling better. He accepted the apology gift Lou Yuedu had asked his assistant to deliver, but that very night, a friend forwarded him an entertainment headline.

Lou Yuedu was engaged to someone else.

Getting engaged to someone else while trying to get back together with him? Bai Yuhuan laughed in anger.

"Mr. Lou, I won't be the other man."

And then Bai Yuhuan really did cave. Under his friend's disbelieving gaze, he said, "Having an affair is kind of fun, actually."

Bottom's POV

Some time after their reunion, Lou Yuedu noticed Bai Yuhuan getting too close to someone else and keeping things from him. Unable to bear it any longer, he took him back to his villa and locked him up.

One day, he came home from work and noticed subtle changes in the house. Afraid Bai Yuhuan had escaped, he hurried anxiously into the bedroom.

Bai Yuhuan was still there, and Lou Yuedu breathed a sigh of relief.

Seeing the wound on Bai Yuhuan's foot, Lou Yuedu realized it came from trying to break free of the chains by force. His heart ached, so he offered to unlock them.

He never expected Bai Yuhuan to get angry.

Lou Yuedu was pinned against the headboard. Just as he was drifting off, he heard Bai Yuhuan say, "I went to so much trouble to get them on... and now you want to take them off."
