- Equally matched leads / role-playing / younger love interest / infinite-flow
- Cool, laid-back, lazy-to-the-bone bottom (loyal queen) * cold and fierce-looking, tsundere and clingy top on the inside
Shen Xifeng was transported into a murder-mystery role-playing game and lost his original memories. To survive, he had to become an NPC.
But damn it, who could have guessed that players with countless points in their backpacks wouldn't get to choose their roles? And so, he successfully became a victim.
But why can the dead still vote?!
System Notification
Dear Special NPC, congratulations on earning your mentor's favor! This script has been upgraded beyond its originally assigned intermediate level to a special serial case. Your initial survival time is 10 minutes, so please take care of yourself!
Shen Xifeng gritted his teeth. “Which mentor favors me this much?”
System: “The player will meet the mentor during the game! Please note: Players killed by their mentor will lose 30% of their points, while killing the mentor will earn a 50% point bonus!”
- And so
“Special Script: Heart-Eater. Special Player reports mentor for harassment. Report successful.”
“Mentor penalty!! Please come to my dorm and clean it for me, player!”
System Notification: Sorry! Since the player has repeatedly reported the mentor, here's a reminder: you cannot report the mentor during the penalty!
- Then
Shen Xifeng: “We're both players, so why do you get special privileges?”
Cang Zhunan replied calmly, “Because I'm good at what I do.” He took out a little knife. “This should do enough damage.”
System Results: The player should have died from blood loss. Better luck next time!
Shen Xifeng: “!!!”
- And then
On a dark and windy night,
Cang Zhunan, blindfolded and dangling beside the window: Can we talk this over?
Shen Xifeng, looking for an item: “Should I use a little knife or a big one this time?”
As for character deaths, it's all in service of the plot.
The protagonists' values do not represent the author's.
Please don't overthink the script settings. They're all there to serve the plot. Since the opening chapters are rather slow, you can start reading from Chapter 7 onward (? -ω-`)

2. Polite scoundrel top * lovely beauty bottom: a story about waiting and stand-ins
