Writing Socially Mortifying Scripts for the Detective Conan Cast

Lingchuan Yuren, a soon-to-graduate female college student in an acting program, is transported to the Detective Conan set by a System voice.

Lingchuan Yuren: So I'm supposed to play...?

System: [The victim.]

Lingchuan Yuren: ?

System: [But you get to design the entire plot and set, from before your death to the moment you die.]

Lingchuan Yuren (rubbing her hands together): I like it! Who's my partner?

System: [Umm... I have a few souls here. Pick one.]

Then Lingchuan Yuren picked a few of the most handsome ones.

So Hagiwara, Matsuda, and Morofushi opened their eyes in the darkness...

From that day on, a certain elementary school student was shocked to find himself surrounded by all kinds of incomprehensible cases.

Case One: A strong young woman has dropped out of school to raise the child in her belly alone after the baby's father was taken away by his family to marry for political gain. But his family kills her in her apartment, claiming they are cleaning house.

The elementary school student: ??? Is this whole family legally illiterate?

*The baby's father, Hagiwara: ...Sweetheart, I won't abandon you or the baby. [Struggling to recite his lines]

Case Two: A true heiress who was switched at birth is found by her biological parents, but they only want to trade her to a man in his fifties for their own benefit. Fearing the true heiress will return for revenge, the fake heiress strikes first.

The elementary school student: ??? I don't understand. What kind of logic is that?

*The fake heiress, Matsuda: ...Sis, you won't blame me, will you? [gritting his teeth]

After going through far too much, the elementary school student's worldview is successfully turned upside down.

Lingchuan Yuren, pretending to be a high school student working her way through school, is working at a cafe. She gives a sunny smile to the elementary school student who just walked in. “What can I get for you?”

The elementary school student (looking her over for a long while): “Have you ever met an overbearing CEO who got coffee spilled all over him, wears a full suit in the middle of summer, and calls every woman ‘woman’?”

“Stay away from him. He has a fiancee.”

Lingchuan Yuren's smile stiffens: ...?

Did someone steal my script?

*The overbearing CEO, Morofushi, about to open the door: ...So, should I still come in? [pauses] White moonlight's substitute.
