After Losing My Memory, My Ex-Boyfriend Took Me Home

Three years after their breakup, Lin Jiashu received a call from Yan Xi.

He hadn't wanted to answer, but when he saw her name, his hand moved faster than his brain.

"Hello. Sorry, I don't have this number saved. Who is this?"

Lin Jiashu: "..."

He cursed under his breath and was about to hang up when she continued.

"I have an emergency. Could you lend me some money?"

Lin Jiashu: "..."

After waking up from a car accident, Yan Xi had lost her memory.

The nurse handed over her belongings: a battered phone and two coins. She kept hinting that Yan Xi should hurry up and pay the bill, watching her closely as if afraid she'd run off.

There was only one number saved in the phone, with no name attached.

After hesitating for a long time, she worked up the courage to call. Since he was her only contact, they must have been very close. Surely he wouldn't mind lending her some money. But she hadn't even said two sentences before he coldly hung up on her.

The atmosphere turned awkward, and all she could do was smile apologetically at the nurse.

Suddenly, the ward door opened.

The cold man who had hung up on her five minutes earlier appeared before her, dressed in white, bringing with him a biting wind and snowflakes.

He lowered his eyes to examine her medical records through his glasses and introduced himself in a very flat tone:

"Lin Jiashu, your attending physician from now on."

"And your... boyfriend."

P.S. He says one thing and means another; deep down, he loves her to bits.
