Zhong Xuan, an overworked corporate drone who died suddenly after working all night, transmigrated!
Good news: She, Zhong Xuan, had been reborn as the only legitimate daughter of the Duke of Weiguo in the capital.
Bad news: Her Zhong family had been caught up in a struggle for the throne. Some were killed, some fled, and some were exiled. In the end, she was the only one left, escaping to a small mountain village. She spent all her savings and eventually died of hunger and illness!
Zhong Xuan, newly transmigrated: ?
Great Transmigration Deity, is this how you treat people? You gave me a noble identity without any of the noble perks? You couldn't even give me a one-day trial? Give me back my life as a rich second-generation heir, free of charge!
The Transmigration Deity replied: In that case, work hard and become the first generation of nobility!
[Ding! Suitable heir Host detected. Binding the Extraordinary Clan System.]
[Main mission: Rise again and build a renowned, top-tier clan!]
[Mission reward: Go home.]
[Mission failure: Annihilation.]
[Main mission 1: Become the foremost clan in Liuhua Village!]
[Current side mission 1: Survive!]
[Mission description: Your fever won't go down, your body is weak, and you're on the verge of death. Hurry and call a doctor!]
[Mission reward: 1 copper coin.]
[Mission failure: Death.]
Zhong Xuan, who didn't even have a single copper coin: ?
To save her hard-won life, Zhong Xuan had no choice but to hold her nose and set out to become nobility from scratch!
Fortunately, although the world was in chaos, women in this dynasty had many rights. They could take the imperial examinations, do business, and even marry several men and have children, just like men.
Several prominent clans were headed by women, and the Zhong family was no exception.
As the only child of the Zhong family's head husband, Zhong Xuan became the clan's heir from the moment she was born.
And she even had an official degree to her name!
[Main mission 1: Become the foremost clan in Liuhua Village, complete.]
[Mission reward: Some of the Zhong clan members who had been in hiding.]
[Main mission 2: Become the foremost clan in Jucai Town, complete.]
[Mission reward: Clan Member Talent Roulette unlocked.]
And so, before long, the Zhong family became the foremost clan in the Great Yun Dynasty. They had a host of retainers, a rising generation of talented clan members, and businesses spanning overseas. The family flourished without decline.
[Ding! Important side mission triggered.]
[As head of the Zhong family, you have no one by your side in bed, and no descendants to carry on the family line. Everyone in the clan is deeply concerned, and this may affect the family.]
[Side mission: Marry eighteen handsome husbands and choose suitable heirs for the family!]
Zhong Xuan: ?
