Raft from the Start: An Occult Expert's Struggle to Survive at Sea

The original blurb ran out of inspiration, so I've replaced it with a new one. Thanks to all the sweethearts who bookmarked the old version. Let me bow to you~

[Welcome to the Sea Survival faction game]

Find the disguised Earthling (the traitor) and eliminate them.

[Your Identity Card: Blue Star Earthling]

Countless rafts rise from the sea, and every Blue Star person is captain of their own vessel.

No food, no weapons, only one another, or enemies to one another.

[System Notification]

Low-level civilization: Blue Star, has been locked on.

According to the laws of the universe: violent conquest is forbidden.

Alternative: Trials of the Sea God.

Losers: civilization erased.

Jiang Yang watched these words appear out of nowhere on a giant screen in the sky. Countless split screens, like livestreams, showed the other players' situations. Some were screaming and crying, some paddling frantically, and some sitting motionless like corpses.

The seawater was briny, and the raft rocked beneath her. She looked down and counted the planks under her feet: just a few scattered, loosely fastened boards, with nothing but a crude fishing rod to go with them...

[Good luck, players]

That was the first “greeting” everyone heard from the advanced civilization.

But Jiang Yang knew this wasn't a game.

With danger right before her eyes, she instinctively started casting a divination to see whether her luck was good or bad.

[System beeps. Non-quantifiable ability detected. Generating skills for you...]

[Skill 1] Aura Sight: You can identify traitors.

[Skill 2] Dragon Vein Sight: You have an instinct for places of good feng shui and can sense danger and opportunity.

[Skill 3] ...

Crisis after crisis followed:

[System Notification: A poison gas bomb is less than 5 kilometers away. Don't let it catch you!]

[System Notification: A school of enthusiastic fish is here. Don't panic, they're just hungry, and you look... just about edible.]

Scorching heat, fog that sent them off course, waves of glowing creatures, living islands, drifting icebergs, forests of giant seaweed. Natural disasters and man-made calamities came one after another.

While everyone else cried, she lashed planks together.

While everyone else cursed, she fished for driftwood.

While everyone else fought amongst themselves, she kept a little notebook of the traitors with black smoke rising above their heads.

[Congratulations on achieving the Traitor Eliminated achievement]

[Congratulations on reaching first place on the Wealth Rankings]

[Congratulations on receiving the consecutive login reward]

[Congratulations...]

Jiang Yang looked at the screen full of golden achievements and stuck a bandage over the bloody marks the hemp rope had left on her hands.
