When her boyfriend, Gu Yubai, came out of the bedroom, he froze for a few seconds, then pressed his lips together and gave the man a slight, respectful bow. "Mr. Jin."

Jin Huaichen ignored Gu Yubai's friendly greeting and calmly rubbed his pale wrist, trying to suppress his emotions. But the instant his dark eyes settled on Si Qingshu's beautiful face, his expression turned unmistakably displeased. He gave a mocking curl of his lips. "This is the person you chose?"

His voice was stern and cold, as if he were saying: What kind of trash did you pick?

Si Qingshu had been dating Gu Yubai since college, and the two had been happy together for six years.
