My personal ratings. I read many of these while they were still updating and skipped some chapters, so my ratings may not be complete. Everyone’s tastes are different, so don’t take my ratings as a definitive guide (?-?).
Heartwarming, Upbeat Stories
I only read stories with a lighthearted, witty, and logical writing style, preferably with a female lead. Looking for stories that put the male lead through the wringer, and have more than one male lead.
Great Reads to Check Out (I'll Keep Updating This List)
The recommender’s preferences are gloomy, brooding men and honest women, or melodramatic plots and female-bottom stories. If a book doesn’t fit those, it’s still probably one whose writing I think is excellent. Just my personal taste TT
Romance, Version 1.0
A bit of everything
Looking for Similar Stories, Yes, Every Single One!
If you're looking for something to read, give these a try. These are stories I could get into and mostly finished. Mainly historical settings, no-cp, and romance.
You’re Pretty Enchanted by Her Too, Right? (Taste-Test Edition)
Male leads getting tortured / harem rivalry showdowns / training men like dogs / a female lead everyone is obsessed with (feed me recommendations in the comments!) (ongoing updates)
One Woman, Many Men: Love Triangle or 1V1 Good Stuff
Click here for a whole lot of male rivalry and jealous showdowns: brotherly threesomes, fox spirits, domestic husbands, nonhumans, girl tops/boy bottoms, terrible men, gloomy male ghosts...
Female-Lead Fans' Hangout
All kinds of genres, with completed and ongoing stories mixed together. This list is mainly to distinguish them from my A-grade list. I prefer GB, strong female leads, and popular heroines.
Worth Savoring Again and Again
Feel free to click in and check out the blurbs and tags if you're interested. My recommendations are all over the place. I'll add more details when I have time, QwQ
Original BG, List Updated July 11
Mostly open endings, love interests you can root for, and branching routes. Some are one-on-one from the start. Also, I recommend Sang Jiajing from Xiaoxiang Academy. Nine out of ten of her stories feature a harem of all pairings.
All-Characters Ship, Love Triangle, Everyone Loves the Main Character, Mary Sue, Choose Your Ship
A collection of stories with female protagonists, all genres. I like love triangles, sibling rivalries, aristocratic academies, comic fanfiction, villainess stories, Mary Sues, and characters adored by everyone, as well as nonhuman characters and scheming women. Generally no female-female rivalry, and very few 1v1 romances.
Otome/Everyone Loves the Protagonist (Updated June 4)
The stories served up by these authors make my heart go all tingly. I especially love Mary Sue, otome, everyone-loves-the-protagonist, all-routes-cleared stories with a touch of thrilling tension~

Female-Protagonist Harem Reads
Note from 2026.3.28: I no longer use Jinjiang, so this list will no longer be updated.
Dropped Books and Rants
It's all subjective, all subjective! I haven't even gone into the comments to pick fights, so cut me some slack, okay?? (._. The comments include some lowbrow rants from yours truly.)
No Longer Updating This Recommendation List
Some are unfinished, so I can't vouch for the quality of all of them. These are the ones I thought were pretty good. Could include women doting on men, dog-training, charming everyone, pure romance, or no romance. Check the blurbs for potential dealbreakers. Male leads are virgins (wait, no...).
Comedy and Satisfying Battles, Mostly BG Romance
The ratings are capped at five stars, so four- and five-star ratings are basically the same. I skimmed past the parts I didn't want to read. I like melodrama and wish-fulfillment stories. Mostly strong female leads in BG, with a few other types.
Female-Led / Male Virtue / Female F, Male C
Just like the title says, I love this kind of delicious fare. I only read women-loving stories from the female protagonist's perspective. I hope more authors will write women-centered novels! This list is mostly about romance.
Stories That Love Women
I read everything. I love stories centered on women and strong female leads, and read both BG and GB. My tastes are complicated: I love melodrama, love triangles, guys fighting over each other, and polyamory.
Playing with Men
Lighthearted fun with men. I want to give every girl five stars. Damn JJ. [I've quit Jinjiang and won't be updating this anymore.]
A Seasoned Novelist Shares Their Reads
Please trust my literary taste, okay?
Everyone's Favorite: BG
Both ongoing and complete stories. Continuously updated. I’m a female-lead enthusiast and love doting on female leads. I like girls with a dominant vibe. Lots of four-star ratings because I’m not allowed to give five stars.
Heroine-Centric: Harem and Multi-Person Love Triangle
The female lead never gets put through the wringer, and the male leads all try to win her over.
Female-Centered

I don't know who's whispering in my ears when I'm sleeping on the water, but it's actually a return to the White Moonlight area where I'm jumping into the sea, right? [Gotou]
I also feel a little sorry for Rong Jiahao's ending. I think that such an outstanding person should not be like this. His appearance is not worse than that of the latter. In terms of ability, he can be said to be inferior to the latter. The description of his character in the previous article makes me not feel that he is such an extreme person. Although he does attach great importance to relationships, his personality charm makes me feel that he is not someone who cannot live because of a relationship, but this is indeed the case for his ending in the article. His ending is a minor flaw in the story to me.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh why did it end [crying] I can't bear to see it, I still want to see Sister Lin's career and playing with men [crying] Author, you are really good at writing, the words are so delicate, I feel like I really participated in the first half of Lin Wei's life, seeing her joys and sorrows as if she really existed, I can't bear to leave her... Thank you for creating such a three-dimensional flashing Lin Wei, thank you for clicking on such a good article when I was bored, I really want to eat more extras [crying]
I like Anjie, but there is no extra story about him.
Finished spreading flowers [Come on] It's great that vv has become the person he wants to be, but it's a pity that he wrote his first love to death
Can the heroine be a little fatter? She has an irregular schedule and a very good diet in the later period. Even if the main heroine in the novel relies on a man, he is still sober. Men are just tools. However, I think the thinness of the heroine is too in line with the current aesthetic. I think it would be better if the heroine could be fatter, meatier, and less feminine in the general sense.
Dead Bai Yueguang is attacking Sister Lin again.
My Rong and Anjie oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
Hey... I miss Anjie... Can there be a sequel about him?
2025.04.16, 01:17 Finished spreading flowers! Like! I don't know how to praise you enough, it's really well written! [Spread flowers][Red hearts][Like][Compare hearts] (Finally, let's take a guess, whether the description of having an uneasy sleep and crying on the boat during the night is also a metaphor for the memory of Bai Yueguang who jumped into the sea and died. When I saw this, I felt the power of Bai Yueguang [poor])
