Do Love-Crazed Evil Gods Really Exist?
In the second round of their breakup argument, just as his ex-boyfriend's temples were throbbing with rage, he suddenly dropped to his knees.
A bizarre smile spread across his face. In a voice so gentle it gave Ye Fu goosebumps, he slowly said, "You want me to get lost, right? Fine, I'll go. Don't be mad."
Then he sprawled on the floor and wriggled toward the door in a contorted, unnatural way. Gripping the doorframe, he struggled to straighten up and open the door. Then his limbs tangled together awkwardly, and he rolled down the stairs like a ball.
Ye Fu questioned the world for a second, then questioned life for another. Hearing the heavy thud of a body hitting the ground, he immediately called the police.
This is ridiculous, he couldn't help thinking.

The law-abiding police took away his ex-boyfriend, now a heap of mud, along with the surveillance footage, and left Ye Fu in peace.
But from that day on, things began to get strange.
The gurgling sound of water right beside him that jolted him awake at night. A clammy, ubiquitous, icy gaze. Calls that kept coming to his phone, only to hang up before he could answer, and showed up as disconnected numbers when he called back...
Countless anomalies began to appear around him.
Ye Fu felt increasingly irritated and uneasy. Then one day, those emotions finally erupted.
That writhing, twisted, pitch-black thing with eyes, caught in the corner of his vision...
What was it?

The anomalies began when his ex-boyfriend did something reckless and nearly died. Ye Fu decided to visit him, and take a look at the sort of person his ex, Li Qing, was currently dating.
After a "friendly" exchange with Li Qing, Ye Fu left the hospital empty-handed. In the corridor, he collided with someone hurrying past and had to brace himself against the wall to stay upright.
His palm met the hospital wall, no longer pristine white, and water from the basin the stranger was carrying splashed onto his clothes. Ye Fu's already sour mood worsened.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" The person apologized repeatedly, then timidly looked up, revealing a delicate, flustered face.
The same type as Li Qing's current partner, Gu Fang, Ye Fu thought.
Like a pure and kind little white flower.
Interesting. Ye Fu smiled.
"Kalon" had reached the final stage of its growth. This was its strongest moment, and the one just before it began to weaken.
It decided to hunt another evil god, to obtain the energy it needed to prolong its prime.
Its opponent's power was "time."
To leave itself a way out, "Kalon" decided to anchor itself with something supposedly called "emotion," in its absolute, purest form.
It shrank its body and descended upon a tiny planet in the vast universe, choosing a human who was making a wish to it: "I want pure love, pure love for me and for the person I fall in love with."
This is exactly what I need, it thought.

"@%ka#lo*n" x Ye Fu (the left-right order is meaningful) (The garbled text is meaningful, but unreadable. Usually called the gong, Kalon.)
An arrogant, self-important human bottom who longs for love but doesn't understand it, aloof and fatherly. A clammy, sticky, octopus-like evil god gong who pretends to be a sweet, innocent little white flower.
This isn't traditional Lovecraftian horror. I just want to write about a tentacle monster falling in love. From both sides having impure motives to a pure yet twisted love.
A somewhat mad love story. The kind of love that can't happen unless you're a little crazy.
Read with caution. I went back to my hometown while writing this, and my mental state wasn't great.
