Am I the Fifth Step? Am I King Zhou? Am I Di Xin? Who am I, really? The unreal within the real, a conspiracy of twisted time and space: what, in the end, is true and what is false? Let me tear apart this tangled space-time and its illusory figures! What is the Mandate of Heaven? If there is such a thing, I will defy Heaven and change my fate!
This is the first volume of The Legend of the Dragon Soul Sage Emperor. It is complete. Look forward to the next volume, Golden Scales Meet the Storm.
I completed this book before 2016. The original site where I had signed a contract, a certain book website, shut down. I reposted it in 2016 on a certain writing site, but it was later caught up in a large-scale round of bans. I am currently applying to have the ban lifted. Some time ago, I unexpectedly discovered that a certain audio-book platform had released an audiobook of this novel without my authorization. The book had also become impossible to find online. I filed a complaint and got the audiobook taken down, but the incident made me much more cautious, so I decided to repost the novel and continue applying to have the ban lifted.
Now it's 2025, and Ne Zha 2 is a huge hit. I really like it too, but that has also made me feel more wary, because this book could be seen as riding on its popularity. So let me make it clear in this blurb: this book has nothing to do with the film, and neither borrowed from the other in any way. We knew nothing of each other's work. Mine is an obscure work from the past, while Ne Zha is a hit film from the future. The two have absolutely no connection.
