Want to Compete? Get a Boyfriend Thrown In!

For years, Shinian lived with his mother in France, just the two of them. At sixteen, he became a miserable apprentice under an eccentric old man, always believing he was a poor little thing whose father had died.

Turns out his biological father was a famous big shot in China. He sent his butler flying to France overnight to claim Shinian as his son and bring him back to inherit the vast family fortune.

Shinian: ?

Shinian: What did you just say?

The stern old butler: Young master, sir wants you to return to the company and learn the ropes.

Shinian: Get lost!

After graduating from university, Shinian signed up for the Dessert Olympics, declaring that he would dominate the French dessert scene.

He rallied his friends and went for it, but nearly failed to make it through the preliminaries.

Then a domineering CEO fell in love with his... cakes, and offered to sponsor him.

On one condition: he had to be the CEO's exclusive baker.

Shinian: ???

Shinian: Do you think I'm some famous athlete?

But in desperate need of funding, he accepted. Determined not to waste his sponsor's money, he clawed his way back from the hellish repechage round, made it through the semifinals and fought his way into the finals. To the disbelief of all France, he took home the championship.

Now basking in his glory, Shinian strutted past his wealthy father and the old butler, black card in hand.

Everyone: ...

Shinian: Ha! Am I the king of French desserts now?

The CEO: Of course. Everyone knows what we are to each other. (He casually slips an arm around Shinian's waist.)

Shinian: ???

Shinian: Say whatever you want, but keep your hands to yourself! I'm straight!

A straight dessert chef who gets doted on × a CEO who can't walk past chocolate without stopping
