On the first day Luo An returned home after winning an international award, he made big news about his ex-boyfriend, Chen Xuanting, whom he had broken up with years ago: "Luo An's first words after returning home with an award: 'Chen Xuanting will always be my mentor.'"

Chen Xuanting, however, withdrew from the scene, clutching his priceless sheet music.

Luo An thought Chen Xuanting had never loved him. He thought Chen Xuanting had only been looking at someone else through him, using his voice to sing of a love that had passed away.

Watching the puppy's eyes light up, Yue Ming clutched his lower back in alarm. "No. That's a separate fee."
