No More Sunny Days [Genshin Impact]

Sui Rucang transmigrated to the continent of Teyvat. She was born in a village, then died. As she lay dying, the Archon she worshiped blessed her, so that when she opened her eyes again, she could see the truth.

A person was born in Liyue, born of Heaven and raised by Earth, rising from the ashes of the Archons. She could not see the sun. So the Geo Archon, honoring a contract he had signed during the Archon War, crowned her.

Her name was Sui Rucang. She ran away from home and traveled across the continent.

The person who adopted her once hired a young tutor for her with ulterior motives. To this day, she still calls him Master. She joined his organization, offering her reborn body for his ideals and her own pursuits.

Even the gods cannot save her.

This world is one enormous cycle. What if I am merely a memory temporarily stored in the ley lines?

What if everything along the way is no more than an illusion?

How will the world treat...

I'm not writing any more. Those clothes made me sick.

Also known as: No Sight of the Sun.

The protagonist transmigrates to Teyvat and, through countless adventures and encounters with different people, finds her purpose. In the end, she joins hands with the Traveler to uncover the truth about the world.

This story follows an original character traveling across Teyvat alongside other original characters. Apart from Lumine, she has little interaction with any other characters.

There are many original characters. It is purely platonic, with only family bonds and friendship.

The idea of everyone dying once, mentioned somewhere in the author's notes, isn't set in stone. I got the idea after hearing that Teyvat goes through endless cycles, but there won't be a looping plot, and I don't want to write a story that's purely about tragic deaths.

The early chapters mainly recount the protagonist's memories in first person. Starting from Chapter 31, that changes, because after taking a break, I changed my approach to writing.

I'll add anything else I think of later.

+1. Updates whenever I feel like it.
