Infinite Invasion

[Setting up the premise for now. Title and blurb to be added later.]

"I saw tomorrow in the flames. My hands were stained a vivid red. Unopened sunflowers withered in the wind. The fire burned hot, but the person in my arms was growing colder."

This was the end of humanity.

In the shadows, mud pits writhed. Pale ghosts hovered outside the windows. Humanoid monsters pieced together from countless fragments...

These monsters, whose origins were unknown, appeared overnight. Unprepared, people stumbled into one deadly taboo after another and were wiped out by "them."

Only a handful knew where they came from:

The infinite game had invaded reality.

Zhong Qianxue opened his eyes amid the ruins, his body covered in wounds. He crawled out of the fire, barely breathing, looking so frail he might collapse at a touch.

The Guardians who came to search for survivors sent him aboard a train bound for a safe zone.

They had no idea that amid the wreckage of the train, devoured by monsters, Zhong Qianxue had opened his blood-red eyes and, standing among the scattered limbs and chunks of flesh, crushed a monster's head with his bare hands.

Then he covered his mouth as he coughed up blood, and when the Guardians found him, he weakly called for help.

Zhong Qianxue: "Please help me. I'm a survivor."

Yin Nanxing, standing at the back of the group: ...

This guy is the ultimate Boss who escaped from the infinite game!

"This is the 792nd day since you killed me."

"Long time no see, my ex-boyfriend."

* Top, 1v1, younger man.

* Zhong Qianxue (top) x Yin Nanxing (bottom): a sickly, beautiful young top with maxed-out combat abilities x a gorgeous, sharp-witted bottom who always keeps a clear head.

* The couple stays together, no switching or breaking up. No misunderstandings, no conflicts beyond their opposing positions, no melodrama. They get back together after a breakup.

Theme: Bring back a sunflower.
