With Nowhere to Turn

A drop of water without a container has nowhere to rest.

I'm a person without a home, with nowhere to rest.

At an age when I barely understood the world, I became a young housewife.

My husband was someone I could rely on, but he died in a car accident.

My child was someone I could count on in the future, but one day a fever left him mentally impaired.

My parents were someone I could rely on at my childhood home, but they didn't want to be there for me.

My in-laws were someone I could rely on in my married home... Forget it. Wake up.

When we're young, ignorance can lead us into unknown hardships. But when we finally wake up, we realize that many things can't be changed.

But... what if they could be changed?

If something can happen, it can be changed.

Would things get better or worse? I wish I could go back to the past. Even though my life was smaller back then, I still want to change things.
