To Ensure the Murder Goes Smoothly, I Went to Protect the Killer

A famous tycoon in the country is murdered in a private room at the VIP lounge.

The suspects are:

A popular actress, his current wife

A university basketball team, his eldest son

A high school heartthrob who shares only their father, his younger son

A close friend, his playboy nephew

A supermodel with a deep connection to him

A VIP lounge waiter whose identity is unknown

And a police officer

Xuan Jing is that police officer.

System: Your mission is to return to the past...

Xuan Jing: To protect the victim?

System: No, no... This guy should have died a long time ago. You’re going to protect the suspects.

Xuan Jing: Excuse me?

System: Don’t worry. I’ll give you all the help you need.

Xuan Jing stares at the message floating beside the victim’s head: [I was hit eleven times. Guess which blow was fatal?]

At the crime scene...

A weeping, delicate flower: [Suspect]

A calm, composed top student: [Suspect]

Friends and family shouting that they’ll avenge the victim: [Suspects]

The victim lying on the floor: [Suspect]

A line of text floats beside Xuan Jing’s own head, too: [Suspect]

Xuan Jing: ...

He can’t do this job anymore.

*Other people save the dead. Xuan Jing saves the murderer, and the murderer who killed the murderer.

One day, a leg sticks out of a painting on the wall.

Then a face appears.

The person in the painting: Nice to meet you. I’m your future husband.

An unflappable bottom versus a top who’s everything you could want. The top was painted by the bottom, basically a custom-made boyfriend (?).

Theme: Life is endlessly beautiful, and so is this world. It’s worth living well
