(Content warning! This will differ from the original. The male lead's pairings include Zoro, Sanji, Law, Kid, Ace, Sabo, Smoker, Katakuri, and Doflamingo. There may be OOC. Ace is with the Whitebeard Pirates, and Whitebeard and Izo are alive. Don't worry about the timeline, the author is a little confused by the Pirate King's timeline.)
Gloucester Terea is a male vampire who was once a slave. At the age of four, he was kidnapped by human traffickers and sold to the Celestial Dragons as a slave. Those years in captivity left him unable to speak. When he was nine, a fish-man named Fisher Tiger climbed the Red Line with his bare hands and reached the Celestial Dragons' home, the holy land of Mary Geoise. He freed the kidnapped slaves, and Terea escaped with them.
Rayleigh brought Terea to the Whitebeard Pirates and asked Whitebeard to take him in. He never expected that they wouldn't mistreat him for being a vampire, but would treat him like one of their own, or like their own little brother.
At twenty-one, the death of Thatch made Terea remember a man named Teach. He asked Whitebeard if he could go out and clear his head. It was the first time anyone in the Whitebeard Pirates had heard this little brother make a request, so they all told him to run immediately if he encountered Marines or pirates, and to put his own safety first, among other things.
Later, after he met the Straw Hat Pirates, everyone felt sorry for this vampire...
