Better Them Than Me

As an emotionless sword cultivator, Zhou Li has worked hard to follow the advice of his predecessors and take the wicked path of killing his husband to attain the Dao.

The good news: he has a “close” ghost cultivator friend who can drift back from the gates of hell again and again, even after dying.

The bad news: after killing him several times, Zhou Li still hasn't managed to attain the Dao.

Zhou Li can't help wondering if the Heavenly Dao is picky and only accepts one-time offerings, not eco-friendly, reusable ones.

After another failed attempt, his ghost cultivator friend Yan Wenshu floats behind him and gloomily gets to the heart of the problem. “Am I your husband? What gives you the right to keep killing me?!”

“!” Zhou Li suddenly understands. So he was just missing a prerequisite... That should be easy to fix.

· Childhood friends, but they don't get along. They've been fighting since they were little.

· Not all that loving, but very fond of trying to kill each other.
