Han Wenqing's most obvious trait since childhood has always been his stubbornness. Han's mother had no idea who he took after. He was nearly thirty and still unmarried, with nothing but matches on his mind.
Han's mother was terribly worried, so she asked a close friend to arrange a blind date for him. To her surprise, Lu Yi volunteered.
Han's mother had watched the girl grow up and adored her. It would be wonderful if the two of them got together! She silently prayed that her son wouldn't be too dense to notice her feelings.

Han Wenqing never imagined his mother would trick him into coming home for a blind date, let alone that the date would be someone he knew.
Looking at the graceful young woman before him, Han Wenqing fell silent. He'd seen this little girl get chased by a dog and cry when she was still wearing her hair in little sprout-like pigtails. He just couldn't bring himself to make a move.
Later, Han Wenqing came around.

Lu Yi had an older guy she liked. He seemed rather fierce, and all the other kids were afraid of him, but Lu Yi liked him anyway. She'd kept her feelings hidden in her heart for years.
After growing up, she happened to hear that her godmother was going to arrange a blind date for him. Lu Yi couldn't sit still.
