Chi Yu was a mermaid living on Blue Star. Ever since he was little, he had kept a small jellyfish by his side.
Chi Yu grew up, and the little jellyfish grew up with him.
The little jellyfish was mischievous and would run away from home now and then. But that was all right. Every time it ran away, it would obediently return to Chi Yu before long.
This time was no exception.
Tenderly holding the "jellyfish" that had been lost and found again, Chi Yu stroked it over and over. "Little jellyfish, little jellyfish..."
Until one day, the "jellyfish" could stand it no longer and spoke up. "Why do you keep touching me?"
The little mermaid stared blankly. "Little jellyfish, you can talk..."
Lu Xiangye, wearing a white shirt made transparent by the seawater, turned and walked away.

Blue Star had become severely polluted. With no other choice, Chi Yu followed the humans to Earth, the planet rumored to have been destroyed.
Walking along the road, the mermaid stopped in his tracks.
Staring wistfully at a garbage bag floating in a trash-filled pond, Chi Yu murmured, "Little jellyfish..."
Lu Xiangye corrected him. "That's a garbage bag."
He thought for a moment, then turned to ask Chi Yu, "Then what am I?"
The mermaid repeated blankly, "Garbage bag..."

From the gong's perspective
Lu Xiangye's starship suffered a major accident, and he was dropped, luggage and all, onto a strange planet.
He gradually calmed down and discovered a living creature. It had beautiful, glassy blue eyes and an almost transparent, water-blue tail. In short, it was much prettier than the other creatures.
But this mermaid seemed a little blind.
The first time, he mistook him for a little jellyfish.
The second time, he mistook him for a plastic bag.
What could Lu Xiangye do? Spoil him, of course.
1. The shou's perception is a little confused at first, and he mistakes the gong for his precious little jellyfish.
