Stealing a Kiss Under Cover of Night

Because her husband cheated on her with his first love, Jiang Fu's life as a wealthy society wife lasted barely a year before she was unceremoniously cast aside.

After agreeing on the terms of their divorce, Jiang Fu signed the papers without hesitation.

But with an elder nearing the end of their life, the two agreed to carry on as usual for now and announce their divorce to the family when the time was right.

Jiang Fu seized the last of her good days. She spent her afternoons swiping her ex-husband's black card to her heart's content, then spent her nights alone in the empty mansion. She opened the back of her closet and put on the sexy lingerie even her ex-husband had never been lucky enough to see.

Five minutes before eleven at night, her delicate bare toes carried her into a dim room on the second floor, where she entered the bathroom.

At this time every night, her ex-husband's older brother, Zhou Kezhi, would walk into his room right on schedule.

A man with a pathological aversion to dirt, the first thing he did when he got home was take a shower.

Among those who had opposed their marriage from the start was this older brother, who held the family reins.

Zhou Kezhi had always been polite yet utterly cold toward Jiang Fu, his younger brother's wife. In the past year, they had exchanged fewer than ten sentences. He rarely looked her in the eye, and on the rare occasions when she caught his gaze, she could read his opinion of her in that look.

- She simply wasn't fit to be a daughter-in-law in a wealthy family.

Zhou Kezhi was cool and aloof, the unattainable object of many women's affections. Now that Jiang Fu was free again, she was more curious than ever about what it would feel like to defile someone so untouchable.

If she used her unworthiness to dirty his bed, his knees, and that handsome, impassive face of his, what expression would he make?

In Zhou Kezhi's steam-filled bathroom, Jiang Fu rubbed the body wash he always used across her chest and neck. Then she heard the heavy sound of footsteps approaching from afar.

She thought with a lighthearted smile that the most exciting days of her life in this wealthy family were about to begin.
