Don't You Like Me?

Yue Yao stumbled upon a secret.

His good friend Lu Jialing had been secretly in love with him for ten years!

Damn.

Yue Yao thought he had to see what was going on for himself.

-

From that day on, Yue Yao couldn't help paying more attention to Lu Jialing.

Lu Jialing was actually pretty cute.

He had a slim waist and fair skin, and even the way he cursed Yue Yao sounded nice.

And when he was pushed to his limit, his eyes would grow damp and red at the corners as he swung at Yue Yao.

Damn, that was hot.

Yue Yao decided to give him a chance.

That evening, Yue Yao asked him to meet up.

-

Lu Jialing had secretly loved Yue Yao for ten years.

That didn't stop him from thinking Yue Yao was an idiot.

He didn't want to be with an idiot.

When Yue Yao suddenly confessed, Lu Jialing kept a straight face and talked him around. "Just because you like someone, does that mean you have to be together? You can also keep your feelings to yourself and not bother them. Understand?"

"You're straight, and I don't want to turn you gay. I'm willing to keep these feelings to myself so we can both be at peace."

Yue Yao seemed to understand.

The next day, Lu Jialing wasn't surprised when Yue Yao cornered him.

"Wait, that doesn't make sense." After thinking it over all night, Yue Yao finally got it. "If you like me, why don't you want to be with me? I'm straight, sure, but what does that have to do with you liking me?"

Lu Jialing: "..."

Idiot.

-

Lu Jialing and Yue Yao had a falling-out.

Yue Yao spent the whole night repeating Lu Jialing's name, refusing to leave the bar and cursing him for being a heartless jerk.

Lu Jialing had no choice but to go out and pick him up.

In the dim back alley behind the bar,

Lu Jialing was pressed against the wall by Yue Yao.

The nineteen-year-old, usually so arrogant and unruly, now looked like a big dog soaked in the rain, all dejected and teary-eyed.

"You like me, so why didn't you confess?"

"I'm begging you. If you like me, then chase me, okay?"

"Or... I can chase you instead."

The pursuer falls for the pursued. A sweet little story about the pursuer doting on the one he loves.
