Aizawa and I Were in the Same Class

When Miyo entered the Shin'o Spiritual Arts Academy, a person named Aizen ranked first in every category.

On her first day, Miyo was assigned to a sparring match with Aizen.

After a delicate back-and-forth, Miyo won. But she wasn't happy at all, because the other person had obviously been holding back... and holding back enough water to flood all of Heian-kyo.

At lunchtime, Miyo was sitting in a tree when she spotted someone approaching in the distance. After a moment's thought, she hid her presence and perched among the branches.

She waited until the person came close, then neatly flipped backward, hanging upside down from a branch and pulling a face at him.

Aizen didn't pay much attention to new students or their matches. Holding back was second nature to him, and no one could tell anyway.

But at lunchtime that day, as he walked under a tree, someone suddenly appeared upside down in front of him.

He hadn't even noticed that anyone was in the tree.

The girl pulled a face, then smiled and greeted him. "Aizen, that match just now was great. How about you use your full strength next time?"

Tachibana Miyo, a rising genius onmyoji in Heian-kyo, is skilled in yin-yang, the five elements, talismans, and arrays. Most importantly, she can fight.

But one day, she suddenly found herself in a place called Rukongai. She heard that people came here after they died, but the problem was, she couldn't remember how she had died at all!

A work of revivalism
