The insect queen Morrigan was humanity's nightmare in the interstellar age. The swarm obeyed her will and did her bidding.
Humanity could not destroy her for good, because she would randomly revive among the swarm. The fighting would go on forever.
So they tried using a newly developed machine to send Morrigan to another world.
Good news: they succeeded. In an instant, the insects lost contact with their queen. Leaderless, they were driven back again and again.

After suffering a major defeat at humanity's hands, Morrigan decided to blend into human society for a while and find a way home.
By chance, she learned that this world had [ants]. Delighted, she prepared to explore the Dark Continent.
Another failed attempt to travel between worlds, and this time she ended up somewhere even worse. Human technology in this world was still in its infancy, and her body had inexplicably shrunk. She was found and taken in by a child of the ninja clan known as [Aburame].
At one point, when the God of Shinobi tried to “persuade” the Aburame clan with Wood Release, she laughed.
Do you know what wood fears most? Insects, of course.
At last, she returned to a world with relatively advanced human technology... Wait, why are there so many demons here?
She seemed to have been mistaken for an insect demon, and the demon hunters of this world were targeting her.
How scary could insects really be? Aren't they just gross? That's easy enough to deal with.
Then they discovered they couldn't have been more wrong.
This thing isn't an insect demon at all!
Morrigan: When did I ever say I was?
A crossover with other worlds still to be determined. As always, the protagonist is my kind of strongest female lead. She's quite a nasty character, and romance is barely present.
Theme: Stay true to yourself, and have confidence in your life as an insect
