[Young Justice Bao: Pang Ba] The Tomb of the Wise Prince

The Great Song Dynasty--

The first time they met--

He hid his lofty ambitions beneath a mild, patient exterior, accepting the pressures of life beneath his aura of privilege;

He wrote the dazzling tale of a young man's most thrilling days with youthful abandon, spreading his wings like an eagle ready to soar;

The second time they met--

He gazed skyward with a smile and rode the wind upward, while a blue dragon roamed the deep waters. Life's kindly door swung open for him;

He battled through the skies toward the heavens, tempered his resolve with blood, and embraced the boundless vastness of heaven and earth with blazing passion;

The third time they met--

He spread his long sleeves to invite the breeze, climbed into the heavens and smiled as he looked out. His pride never put others off, and the world delighted in what it saw;

He beat his steadfast wings to stir the bright moon, smiling as he gathered countless storms, fair skies, and blazing sunshine. With a calm expression, he glimpsed endless possibilities;

The fourth time they met--

He drew in all his dazzling radiance, appearing plain and unadorned as he wandered among famous mountains and rivers, regarding passing clouds and smoke with indifference;

He closed his eyes, but could not hide his wild defiance. He folded his wings, yet the winds of change could not sway him. With a turn of his hand, he stilled the waves; he screened his gaze, and gradually receded;

The fifth time they met--

He dressed in simple white and raised his brows, his bleak circumstances stoking his passion. Carriages and horses could not chase the distant masses; he turned his head to look at nature;

He cracked his whip but did not chase the dusty road. He bowed his head to seek a cool field, then spread his wings and flew far away. Startled, he laughed at the joyful garden of the mortal world.

Life cannot be born before it is lived, and death cannot be begged for. A life lasts less than a hundred years; with a faint smile, why cling to foolish dreams?

Eighth Prince: Born into a life of ups and downs, he could not deceive himself with dazzling spring days. He sought fierce sun and lightning, laughed at the living, and was left with nothing but foolish longing;

Pang Tong: A mighty eagle could not bear the world's lowliness. He could not fly beyond the smoke and clouds that blocked his sight. He took a sip from the stream, then faded quietly into the cycle of reincarnation.
