Star Cluster [Nonhuman]

Dark and disturbing | Lovecraftian nonhumans | Alien monsters

I'm sorry we could only meet you now.

But what we want to tell you is that our eyes have been fixed on you since the moment you were born.

We watched you grow, consumed by longing, waiting for you to change from a child into who you are now.

Your first words, your first day of school, your first boyfriend: we watched over you in secret through it all.

Throughout your lonely girlhood, we were always by your side.

Dear savior, dear treasure, dear constellation, we await our reunion with you.

When that day comes, please do not be afraid. We are merely your humble believers beneath the firmament.

Four thousand three hundred years after the sun went dark.

Two thousand eight hundred years after alien civilizations arrived.

You receive a love letter. At first, you think it's a joke from a suitor.

But gradually, your world is turned upside down.

They are immortal. They are cruel and beautiful. They exist beyond time and fate.

But they are only your followers, patiently waiting for you to favor them.
