[Genshin Impact] Saving the World's Most Annoying Characters

[Teyvat is going to be destroyed.]

One day, while processing paperwork, Levi, a "newcomer" in the Fatui logistics department, sees a sentence float before his eyes.

Levi assumes it's a hallucination caused by working late, until a second sentence appears.

[Only by becoming an infuriating character can you save the world.]

Infuriating?

Dizzy and bleary-eyed, Levi stares at the blue text and thinks it sounds easy. He turns around and rejects the Second Harbinger Dottore's application to build a new experimental subject.

A few days later, he sees that his irritation score has actually increased.

Not long afterward, he is swiftly promoted for rejecting a Harbinger's order.

Years later, now head of the Fatui logistics department, Levi can still remember the morning his superior promoted him.

The white-haired old man told him with utmost seriousness that he was the first employee in nearly a century in their department to dare reject a Harbinger's application.

Levi is astonished. Had the Fatui really become so overbearing in the few centuries he'd been away?

So he solemnly promises his superior that he'll keep up the good work.

His superior assumes Levi is just saying that. Little does he know that this "newcomer" Levi means it.

In just a few years, Levi cuts countless unreasonable departmental expenses and rejects countless unreasonable applications.

Whether it's a Harbinger or an ordinary soldier, if their application isn't approved, it isn't approved.

Perhaps it's because he's so merciless and iron-fisted that Levi's irritation score keeps steadily accumulating.

Then, after signing off on the budget request for the Eleventh Harbinger, Childe, to carry out a secret mission in Liyue, he unexpectedly discovers that his accumulated irritation score is rapidly disappearing.

Levi is astonished and has no idea what's going on until he opens the forum that appeared after the System updated.

[It's so satisfying when a fellow worker rejects an unreasonable project.]

[The people upstairs just move their lips, while I'm the one running my legs off!]

[When will I get a boss like Levi?]

[If Levi gets added to the banner, I'm pulling for him until I get him!]

Facing a screen full of praise, Levi falls silent. In some other world, it seems he's become a popular character.
