My Dream Nemesis Is So Irresistible

Lu Yao is a lonely ghost, and she's gone to great lengths to save up enough money for reincarnation. She wishes she could grow three heads and six arms so she could work eight jobs a day.

After two years of pinching pennies, she's lost a whole circle of ghostly weight, only to discover that her savings are growing far more slowly than prices in the underworld.

With no other choice, she decides to visit her nemesis, Chu Xizhi, in a dream.

In the dream, Chu Xizhi is alluring, with a curvaceous figure, but her face is still as cold and haughty as ever. Enough to make any ghost hate her.

Even as a ghost, Lu Yao refuses to bow her head to Chu Xizhi.

So she resorts to a ghostly earworm, fluttering around her and chanting: “Burn me some spirit money. Burn some for me, come on, burn some, burn some, some...”

The next day, Lu Yao excitedly goes to collect the money, only to discover that Chu Xizhi has indulged her by burning ten paper-doll models for her instead.

And so, every day in Wandering City, people see this splendid spectacle:

Ten paper figures with two huge circles of rouge on their cheeks mechanically chant behind Lu Yao: “Food, food, I'm hungry...”

Her already impoverished life gets even worse.

Furious, Lu Yao visits Chu Xizhi in another dream and, without a word, kisses her on the lips.

Lu Yao: “Are you going to help me or not? If you don't, I'll keep making your life miserable!”

Lu Yao always thought Chu Xizhi hated lesbians most of all, but this time, Chu Xizhi doesn't play by the rules.

Chu Xizhi says with amusement, “Not bad. Keep going.”
