A Side Character Should Get Her Own Mary Sue Romance

Going premium this Friday

There are people born to be doomed cannon fodder. There are lots of them: the socially anxious, the green tea, the white lotus, the self-sacrificing saint, the vain. They're all background characters among background characters, disposable passersby who die early. In most scripts, they don't even survive three chapters.

What happens when these cannon fodder are favored by the God of Fate and get a Mary Sue aura that changes their destiny?

Story One: A dancer only wanted to be the lead, but never expected the emperor himself to take an interest in her.

Bai Yiyi was a lowly passerby who danced in the ensemble. Though she dreamed of becoming the lead, she knew she wasn't good enough and never dared hope for it. She was supposed to die in an accident, but the unexpected mishap not only failed to kill her, it made her the lead dancer she'd always dreamed of becoming...

And the emperor took an interest in her too...

Story Two: I spread rumors and successfully became the sect leader's wife.

Liu Xixi got through three peaceful years by spreading rumors that she was the secret lover of a direct disciple of the renowned leader of the Xuanji Sect.

She was supposed to die in her third year because she couldn't keep her mouth shut, but not only did she survive, she actually met the man himself.

And not only did he fail to expose her lies, he even seemed to want to make her his legitimate wife?

Story Three: An autistic girl reaches the pinnacle of life after a car accident.

Xu Qianqian was set up to get into a car accident and forcibly sent to a psychiatric hospital. She was supposed to take her own life after an autistic episode, but not only did she survive, she became famous for her unique, melancholy aura.

Naturally, this also attracted a group of men who used every means at their disposal to get her discharged.

Note: Each story has a different kind of heroine, but all feature the same Mary Sue setup with men falling for her. Some have no CP, and some are one-on-one.

The heroines are all a little clueless and not very smart. Their negative traits are real, but they have that irresistible charm that makes men love and hate them.

All the stories belong to the same System. They are not unrelated stories.

Theme: Everyone has their own shining qualities.
