Lost in Red Harbor [Hong Kong Style]

[Unhinged gang boss x down-and-out heiress]

Hong Kong in the 1980s glittered with lights as bright as day. The biggest news story of the year was still the murder of the perverted director of an orphanage. Tabloids splashed the story everywhere: a knife had pierced the artery in his neck, spraying blood across the ceiling. Some said it was gang revenge; others said the vengeful spirit of a wrongfully killed child had come for him.

Beneath the clematis trellis at St. Maria's Welfare Home, Lei Lijun looked ferocious as he fled in a wretched state, chased by the police. Nearly out of strength, he was rescued by Vivian, an innocent little girl. But when his identity as a fugitive was exposed, the young man revealed his vicious nature. Then, as his blade came free, a flicker of compassion suddenly stayed his hand.

Years later, they met again. He had already risen through ruthless means to become the leader of 4K, one of Hong Kong Island's three biggest gangs. She had been adopted into the Wen family as their heiress, but after her family fell on hard times, she became a fallen heiress. Targeted for revenge, she was kidnapped by hired thugs, and the two crossed paths once more.

Intrigued and ill-intentioned, he drew closer, pressing her at every turn. She tried to dodge him, but it was no use.
