Xu Siyuan dated Chen Nanzheng in secret for a while.

Three months later, they broke up abruptly. She applied for an exchange program abroad, while he continued to flirt with one woman after another. They never saw each other again.

They met again at a class reunion.

Chen Nanzheng walked into the private room with the class beauty’s slender waist wrapped in his arm.

With his striking looks and powerful family background, he naturally became the center of attention.

During dinner, some classmates egged him on, asking how many times he had been in love.

Chen Nanzheng smiled, his charming, expressive eyes dazzling everyone.

He didn’t want to bring up the past, so he punished himself with three drinks as an apology.

Xu Siyuan was bored and called her boyfriend to come pick her up.

As she passed a corner, a strong hand suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her over.

A familiar presence pressed down on her in an instant...

The man who had been laughing and chatting at the table moments ago now had reddened eyes. His words were soaked in alcohol, low and hoarse:

“Is it really that hard to look at me one more time?”

During the entire year he had no way of contacting Xu Siyuan, Chen Nanzheng searched for almost every friend she had.

No one was willing to tell him the truth. Everyone thought he had let her down.

The funniest part was, he thought they were all right.

The few moments in his life when he lost control had all been because of Xu Siyuan. The first was when she asked to break up. The other was when they met again and she told him, “Chen Nanzheng, I don’t love you anymore.”
