[Hannibal] Paradise Lost in Eden

Elizabeth: Yixing teapot enthusiast

Hannibal: Psychiatrist

You have to get close to death again and again to feel alive.

Hannibal kicked the door open and yanked down the rope hanging you.

Your lips were bluish purple, and your face was flushed from suffocation.

"Oh, Doctor."

You gasped for air. Your body's instinctive response made you want to keep living, while your throat burned as if it had been slashed with a knife.

"If I'd come in any later, you would have died here."

"So what?" You shrugged indifferently, then began to cough.

Hannibal gripped your throat, and you felt the agony of suffocation once more.

"How about we make our next therapy session a near-death experience?"

As he spoke, he loosened his grip as if toying with you. He waited until your breathing had almost recovered, then squeezed your throat again.

"Doctor, you're crossing a line."

"On the contrary, I believe I'm saving your mental health."

"Oh, so a cannibal teaches people to cherish life now?"

"I'm simply indulging your desire to come close to death, little Isha."

[Please Note Before Reading]

1. The author likes fatherly types. In real life, the author has sound values; in fiction, not so much. If that bothers you, please move along.

2. Everyone is named Elizabeth Marquez for no particular reason. I was too lazy to come up with names, so why not give them all this name?

3. If you like it, please add the author to your favorites, leave comments, and follow! There are other Hannibal fanfics on my profile too.
