Gentle and steadfast heroine x restrained, devoted hero | Surgeon x tech upstart

In her second year of high school, Wen Li came to the He family with her aunt and met He Zhiyan, her brother in name only.
As she stepped through the He family's front gate, her heart full of apprehension, a tall figure with broad shoulders and a lean waist appeared on the spiral staircase.
Dressed head to toe in designer clothes, hands in his pockets, a fine, expensive watch showing at his wrist, he stood in the shadows at the turn of the stairs and said coldly, "The He family isn't a shelter. Do you really bring just anyone home?"
Wen Li glanced at him without a change in expression, then turned and left.
For the next half month, she refused to set foot in the He family home again.
Watching her cool, decisive retreat, He Zhiyan let out a derisive laugh and walked downstairs. His pale, handsome face gradually came into the sunlight.
"She's got some backbone, at least."
-
He Zhiyan had been the pride of heaven since childhood. Proud and carefree, he was adored by everyone, yet he held himself to high standards and was showered with praise and admiration.
But even a cold-hearted, aloof young master could make a wrong turn, like falling in love with someone he should have hated.
When he accidentally learned that she liked someone else, he lost control for a moment and, eyes red, went to find her. He pinned her in the narrow, shadowy corner of the stairs where they'd first met.
Seeing the way her eyes darted away, he was more flustered and helpless than he had ever been.
"I want you to give me an answer right now. Him or me?"
"If you believe me, tell me again who you choose."
-
Wen Li was by He Zhiyan's side for the two simplest, happiest years of his life. Then, when he was desperate and helpless, she kicked him aside and never looked back.
Six years later, seeing him again felt like waking from another lifetime.
He Zhiyan was no longer the deeply tender man he'd once been. Now, as cold and ruthless as she'd been back then, he said the cruelest things to her in a voice like ice.
Wen Li finally gave up on him for good and accepted her elders' suggestion. She went on a blind date, began preparing for her wedding, and everything fell into place.
But then he couldn't keep up the act any longer. He found her like a madman and pinned her hard against a street corner.
On a freezing winter night, their lips and tongues entwined, his warm breath brushing her ear.
"Wen Li, don't you dare think about letting go again."

Tips:
1. Faux siblings / 1v1 / both leads are virgins, five-year age gap.
2. He pursues her. He looks down on her at first, then gets hit with some serious face-slapping later. The older male lead becomes completely humble. He'll regret and feel guilty about the crude, thoughtless things he said when they first met for the rest of his life.
3. The leads aren't registered in the same household, and they're not related.

When Cheng Yingwei first met Liao Wenjin, he was a handsome, refined young heir, while she was a poor student who worked part-time playing piano at a bar. They were worlds apart and never supposed to cross paths.
After several rounds of drinks, Liao Wenjin's head was swimming. He leaned back in the booth with his eyes closed for a nap, when a companion whispered in his ear, "What do you think of the girl playing piano at ten o'clock?"
Liao Wenjin frowned, opened his eyes, and glanced over. There wasn't a trace of interest in his gaze.
"Not my type. Not interested."
Later, Liao Wenjin saw many sides of Cheng Yingwei.
For instance, though she was so young, she seemed to have endless shifts to work and debts to pay.
Cheng Yingwei knew they were worlds apart, so she kept her distance from this young master.
She never expected him to take pity on her, stirring up a storm in her life and leaving her no way to avoid him.
In an early winter courtyard, leaves rustled in the cold, quiet depths. With Liao Wenjin pressing her at every step, Cheng Yingwei had nowhere left to retreat.
She was about to spit out something cruel, but he gripped her chin and smiled playfully.
"Still thinking about him? Too bad. He's not coming back."
"Yingwei, look at me. I can give you everything he could."
Theme: Though I see you not, by day and night I long for you.
Every time I watch it, I can't help but wonder why it turned out like the beginning 😭 and looking forward to 🐶
🧋Refreshed it again. When I first read it, it was still serialized. Time flies so fast. It's already been a year😭
Wuwuwuwuwu Jiang Song felt so uncomfortable watching this, but this should be the best ending.
After reading it, I feel that the introduction is a bit of a scam. The two times in the introduction that the male protagonist goes crazy and loses control are not included in the main text... I thought it was a crazy criticism type when I read the introduction, but it turned out not to be the case at all.
Hey, after watching so many reunions, Lili is really the heroine I have experienced the most pain in my body, so it is normal that her character does not easily gain a sense of security.
Because of the other CPs mentioned in this book, I also read the others, and the result I still like this book the most. I don't know if I can wait for the new sequel. I met this book too late, haha, although Zhiyan and Lili are already very happy.
[Purple Sugar]kswl[Purple Sugar]kswl[Purple Sugar]kswl I watched it all night
Thanks for the limited fee! Thank you writer! [Rose][Rose]
Can we not write an if line and just give the male and female characters a HE ending? [Rose][Rose]
I want to see the follow-up between Jiang and Song 🥺 🥺
